Connecting Uganda with Germany

The Uganda Roadshow Germany 2026 officially commenced in Düsseldorf, bringing together the German travel trade and Uganda's tourism industry for an evening dedicated to networking, destination education and new business opportunities.

Destination Showcase

Organised in partnership with the Uganda Tourism Board, the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Berlin and Eastern Favourites Representation, the event welcomed travel professionals alongside six Ugandan tour operators, who travelled to Germany to showcase the country's diverse tourism experiences.

Business Networking

Throughout the evening, attendees discovered why Uganda continues to emerge as one of Africa's most exciting destinations. Participating tour operators presented a wide range of experiences, including gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris, cultural encounters, luxury lodges and tailor-made itineraries, while travel professionals had the opportunity to meet suppliers directly during dedicated networking sessions.

Celebrating Ugandan Culture

Adding to the atmosphere were vibrant Ugandan cultural dance performances, offering guests a taste of the country's rich heritage and creating a memorable backdrop for the evening. A highlight of the event was the prize draw, where one lucky attendee won a gorilla trekking permit, one of Uganda's most sought-after wildlife experiences.

Event Outcomes

The roadshow provided an excellent platform for strengthening commercial relationships between Uganda and the German travel trade, with many participants expressing strong interest in expanding Uganda within their product portfolios and developing future partnerships.

Eastern Favourites Representation managed the planning and delivery of the event, including travel trade recruitment, supplier coordination, venue management, marketing, registration and post-event follow-up.
