Uganda's Tourism Industry Strengthens Its Presence in Germany
The Uganda Roadshow Germany 2026 concluded successfully in Munich, marking the final stop of a two-city initiative designed to strengthen commercial ties between Uganda's tourism industry and the German travel trade.
Building on the success of the Düsseldorf event, the Munich roadshow welcomed more than 36 travel professionals alongside eight Ugandan tour operators, making it the largest event of the series and demonstrating the growing interest in Uganda within the German market.

Showcasing the Pearl of Africa
Throughout the evening, participating tour operators presented Uganda's diverse tourism experiences, highlighting everything from world-famous gorilla trekking and classic wildlife safaris to cultural encounters, sustainable tourism initiatives, luxury lodges and tailor-made itineraries.
The destination presentations provided travel professionals with valuable product knowledge and practical sales insights to help them confidently promote Uganda to their clients.
Meaningful Connections Through Networking
Dedicated networking sessions allowed buyers and suppliers to meet face-to-face, exchange ideas and explore future collaboration opportunities.
The relaxed format encouraged productive conversations, enabling participants to discuss itineraries, market trends and future product development while establishing valuable new business relationships.

Celebrating Uganda's Rich Cultural Heritage
The business programme was complemented by energetic performances from traditional Ugandan dancers, giving attendees an authentic insight into the country's vibrant culture and hospitality.
The cultural entertainment created a memorable atmosphere and reminded participants that Uganda offers much more than its incredible wildlife.
Strong Industry Engagement
The Munich roadshow generated excellent engagement from both buyers and suppliers, with follow-up meetings, product discussions and collaborative marketing opportunities already being explored.
Together, the Düsseldorf and Munich events connected more than 60 German travel professionals with 14 Ugandan tourism businesses, creating a valuable platform for future cooperation and destination growth.
Eastern Favourites Representation coordinated the planning and delivery of both roadshows in partnership with the Uganda Tourism Board and the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Berlin.up.
